There are two different worlds existing within the life span of an individual. The indoor and the outdoor. In many cultures, these two, significantly, differ from one another especially in countries where ones home is highly respected, it is expected for any person who steps in to take their shoes off. I-DO is at transformative sandal that connects the inside and the outside world by having multiple functionalities within one shoe that can be used for different purposes. Consisting of 3 different soles, where each sole was inspired by a different social status and/or job, and a folded soft felt that goes on top, it creates tool that can be used in different bioms.

We were provided and worked with Kvadrat Really by Kvadrat to test out the possibilities with this new material. It is a material made out of excess fabrics that are left behind during production of their upholsters. It consists of 2 different variations, the hard wood-like material, and the soft felt material.

Since this was the case, we did not want to create any leftovers. Thus, we created a pattern with zero waste when it comes to the soft felt Really material.
